WHEN CAN WE ARRIVE? WHEN DO WE HAVE TO LEAVE?
Dancefestopia will begin allowing cars into the venue on Friday, June 1st at 11 am and 9am for Saturday, June 2. Please do not arrive to the site before then, you will be turned away. All vehicles and persons must exit the venue by Sunday, June 3rd at 12:00 PM
CAN I LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AND RETURN?
Yes, please have your ID, ticket and wristband on for re-entry. Please note that you will be subject to search each time you enter the festival grounds.
IF I AM STAYING OFF SITE, CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
If you are staying off site, you will be able to come and go throughout the weekend.
WILL YOU BE POSTING SET TIMES IN ADVANCE? WHERE CAN I FIND EXACT SET TIMES?
Set times will be posted on this website as the festival date approaches. The event schedule will also be posted throughout the festival grounds. Please take the time to explore Dancefestopia, as there are some things happening that will not be posted, and will be exciting to find on your own.

DO YOU HAVE A WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM AT THE EVENT?
No.
CAN I PASS OUT FLYERS INSIDE THE VENUE OR OUTSIDE THE VENUE ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS?
No, there is no unauthorized solicitation on the grounds or in any of the parking lots/camping areas.
WHAT TYPES OF VENDORS WILL BE ON HAND?
There will be a variety of food/beverage/Alcohol vendors. See vendor information link at the bottom of the web page.
I LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY CAR, MY CAR WON'T START. WILL THERE BE A TOW TRUCK OR AAA ON SITE?
You can find help for your car at the Dancefestopia Information Booth.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
We ask of you: follow the instructions that are given out, follow the signs to the parking areas, be kind to your neighbor, and come prepared for a weekend of fun.
TICKET FAQ’s
CAN I BRING MY KIDS? DO THEY HAVE TO PAY?
Yes. Everyone is allowed in the event with a ticket. There are no age restrictions. There are no discounts for kids.
WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE FESTIVAL GATES?
We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee access into the event. Tickets will not be available at the gate if the event is sold out.
CAN I GET A DAY PASS?
Day passes to Dancefestopia are not available at this time.

WHERE ARE THE CLOSEST AIRPORTS TO THE VENUE?
The closest major airport is Kansas City (MCI).
WILL YOU BE PROVIDING ANY SHUTTLES TO/FROM THE AIRPORTS?
No.
HOW IS THE TRAFFIC GOING TO BE HANDLED?
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, we ask that you follow the route posted on the website. If you try to make your own way there, it will only make it miserable for you and everyone else. A lot of planning has gone into getting EVERYBODY in and out safely and in a timely fashion.

WILL THE ENTRANCE TO THE CAMPGROUNDS BE OPEN 24 HOURS?
Yes.

Dancefestopia will begin allowing cars into the venue on Friday, June 1st at 8:00 am. Please do not arrive to the site before then, you will be turned away. All vehicles and persons must exit the venue by Sunday, June 3rd at 12:00 PM
CAN WE LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE CAMPGROUND?
Yes.
WHAT WILL YOU BE PROVIDING AT THE CAMPGROUNDS?
There will be 24hr security and showers (for a small fee). There will be water and ice for sale, as well as ATMs and a variety of vendors within the campgrounds.
WHAT EMERGENCY SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SITE? WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE (MEDICAL, POLICE, TOWING, LOCKSMITH, ETC.)?
There will be 24hr medical assistance available throughout the campgrounds and festival site. You can stop any mounted officer you see, or any staff member you see, for assistance. You can also go directly to the Dancefestopia information booth located at the main entrance of the festival for help. There is also a first aid station next to the information booth.
WHERE SHOULD I GO IF I LOSE MY KEYS, MY WALLET OR MY FRIENDS?
Go to the Dancefestopia information booth near the main entrance of the festival.
WHAT WILL WE BE ALLOWED TO BRING INTO THE CAMPGROUNDS?
You can bring food, drink, coolers, and small propane cooking stoves, but NO ALCOHOL, NO KEROSENE or NO GAS in containers. Food and/or drinks may not be taken ourside designated camping areas.
AM I ALLOWED TO SELL FOOD/DRINK IN THE CAMPING AREA?
You are NOT allowed to sell food or drink on the property.
WILL BANDS BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE CAMPING AREA IF NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE FESTIVAL? DO WE NEED A PERMIT IF SO?
Be kind to your neighbors. If you have to plug it in (i.e. an amp), leave it home.
WILL SMALL CAMPFIRES BE ALLOWED IN THE CAMPING AREAS? WILL YOU ALLOW FIRE BINS?
There will be no open ground based fires allowed on the premises. In all other areas, all fires MUST be limited to your grill or small hibachi.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING GAS POWERED GENERATORS?
No generators allowed.
WILL THERE BE ANY ELECTRICITY IN THE CAMPING AREA?
No.
ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED IN THE CAMPSITE?
Yes, absolutely.
IS THERE CELL PHONE SERVICE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL SITE?
Yes.
CAN I SET UP A LARGE PAVILION TENT?
Because space is limited, there will be no pavilion tents allowed.
ARE WE GOING TO BE ABLE TO CAMP NEXT TO OUR CARS?
Upon arrival, you will be directed into the main parking area. Camping is located within the park therefore no cars are allowed. Please walk your belongings to the camping area which is less very close to the parking lot.

Taper tickets are not available. No taping allowed.
WILL CAMERAS BE ALLOWED IN THE CONCERT VENUE AREA?
Yes, but no professional equipment.
WILL CHAIRS BE ALLOWED IN THE CONCERT VENUE?
No.
WILL THERE BE ATM MACHINES INSIDE THE VENUE?
Yes.
WILL THERE BE LOCKERS ON SITE?
No, we ask that you lock all your valuables in the car (hidden and out of site) or keep them with you.
WILL THERE BE A LOST & FOUND? (LOST KEYS, CELL PHONES, ETC.)
Yes, at the information booth near the main entrance of the festival.
WILL THERE BE AN INFORMATION BOOTH/AREA?
Yes the information booth is near the main entrance of the festival.
WILL THERE BE FIRST AID ON SITE?
Yes, the first aid station is next to the information booth near the main entrance of the festival.
WILL THERE BE DRINKING FOUNTAINS? AND/OR HOW MUCH IS WATER?
There are a few water fountains otherwise water will be available at the concession stands at very reasonable prices.
WILL THERE BE FLUSHABLE TOILETS AND SINKS AVAILABLE?
No. There will be portable bathrooms and hand sanitizing stations.
WILL THERE BE PAYPHONES?
No.
WILL THERE BE A FESTIVAL MAP AVAILABLE AHEAD OF TIME SO WE CAN SEE WHICH ARTISTS WILL BE AT WHICH STAGES/TENT AREAS? AND SEE LOCATIONS OF FOOD COURTS, BATHROOM AREAS?
Yes. Please check back as the event date approaches.
Do not buy tickets from scalpers. Beware of frauds. Assure your admission into the event by buying your ticket from an authorized ticket outlet. Dancefestopia will take place rain or shine. All acts advertised have confirmed their appearance; however acts are subject to change without notice. Guard your tickets carefully and always have your ID on you.
General Admission (GA) 'Weekend Experience' ticket gets you entry into the event where you'll be free to explore the stages of music, vendors and an array of other attractions along with thousands of your closest festival friends! For those ages 21 and over, fully stocked bars will be available with drinks for purchase throughout the festival.
VIP Weekend Experience ticket gets you entry into the event as well as unlimited alcohol beverages from 4pm to 2am on Friday and 12pm to 2am on Saturday. There will also be special event areas just for these VIP ticket holders. Limited tickets available.
NO unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, etc.
NO professional recording equipment – photo, video, or audio (No detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs)
