DANCEFESTOPIA RETURNS IN 2021
Dancefestopia is a home of happiness, love and celebration – an escape from life’s pain, stresses and uncertainties. We carve-out our own beautiful place on earth to laugh, love and dance with friends in the beautiful September air.
For the last four months, we’ve navigated the rollercoaster of information and emotional ups and downs of this terrible pandemic. Guided by experts in public health and safety, we chose to keep moving forward in hopes the situation would improve. Unfortunately, this incredible escape from life’s pain, stresses and uncertainties is not possible in an environment where those pains are carried by those who seek to avoid it. With devastation in our hearts, we are sad to say Dancefestopia 2020 must be postponed to September 9-12, 2021.

Dancefestopia 2020 was going to be one for the books. We invested a significant amount of resources in an improved forest camping experience, dramatically enhanced production and a renewed emphasis on the smallest of details- all for YOU. These investments are not lost, in fact, they will be amplified by an additional year’s worth of time to even further improve your experience. Our return to the Emerald City in 2021 will be incredible. Please find the happiness in your hearts and join us for what will be the best Dancefestopia ever, #DFT2021.
All DFT 2020 tickets will automatically roll-over to DFT 2021; you don’t need to do anything. Plus, by keeping your ticket you will also become a valued member of our DFT Loyalty Program and you are going to receive some incredible rewards and benefits. We understand that some #DFT2020 ticket holders unfortunately may not be able to make it in 2021. As such, refunds will be made available beginning on July 23rd and will continue through August 13th. The DFT Loyalty Program details, along with the procedure for obtaining a refund, will be emailed to all ticket holders on Monday, July 27. We do hope you will stick with us and continue to be part of our DFT Fam!

With the news of this year's postponement comes with two options for all Dancefestopia 2020 ticket purchasers:
1. Retain your tickets for Dancefestopia 2021. No action required.
2. Submit for a refund
All ticket purchasers have been contacted via the email assigned to their ticket account. If you do not see the email in your main folder, please check promotions or spam.
2021 ticketing update
By keeping your #DFT2020 ticket, you will lock in the lowest price for the postponed DFT in 2021. We will not be having our annual Black Friday sale this year - the current tier is the lowest they will be for all ticket types. Please note, all ticket types will increase as allotments run out. We have limited tickets available for each tier so they will move quickly! Some ticket types are already sold out.
LOYALTY PROGRAM DETAILS

Automatic enrollment in the Dancefestopia Loyalty Program. As a member of the loyalty program, you will have access to Dancefestopia 2022 tickets (Special 10th Anniversary Edition) before the general public at a discounted price and first choice of ticket packages. The Loyalty Program will be ongoing and starting this year will be based on your tenure. The longer you are a member the more benefits you will receive!

Awarded Loyalty only Dancefestopia commemorative package for retaining your tickets. All items in the package are unique for Loyalty Members and not available for sale. The bundle will be picked up at the merch tent during #DFT2021.

UPDATE ON VENUE IMPROVEMENTS
Dancefestopia 2020 was going to be one for the books. We invested a significant amount of resources in an improved forest camping experience, dramatically enhanced production, and a renewed emphasis on the smallest of details- all for YOU. These investments are not lost, in fact, they will be amplified by an additional year's worth of time to even further improve your experience. By keeping your ticket, you will support our ongoing projects as we prepare for Dancefestopia 2021! Since our time apart we have made the following improvements in the venue:
Built an immersive stage in the forest to host programming throughout the weekend
Created an interactive 'piano room' in the forest for attendees to enjoy
Built large art installations throughout the forest for attendees to enjoy
Developed an improved trail network in the forest for improved navigation
Removed unhealthy trees and invasive underbrush to allow for a higher quality camping
How to request a refund
You will have from July 23rd, 2020 until August 13th, 2020 at 11:59 pm CT to claim a refund. All tickets that have not been submitted for a refund by 11:59 pm CT on August 13th will automatically push to 2021, and refunds will no longer be available. All refunds will be processed in as little as 30 days from when the request period ends.

I would like to keep my tickets for 2021. Do I need to anything?
Thank you for your support! No action is required. Your current purchase will be valid for 2021.
How do I request a refund?

Can I get refunded for only part of my order?
No. If you submit a refund request, you will be refunded for the entire order including fees.
CAN I buy tickets for DAncefestopia 2021?
Yes! Tickets for 2021 go on sale this Thursday, July 23rd at 10:00 am CT
I have an outstanding balance on my layaway plan
TIXR layaway plans must be completed in order to request a refund or to push your order to 2021. Unfortunately, the system is not built to 'pause' plans and rollover incompleted plans to the 2021 event. If you have an outstanding balance and would like to finish your plan to push your tickets to 2021 you must complete your plan by August 12th. Incompleted plans will be automatically canceled on August 13th.
Someone I know bought my ticket for me, what should I do?
Refunds must be requested by the original purchaser. A refund will be issued to the method of payment used for the original purchase.
I have a different credit/debit card now than when I purchased. Can I still be refunded?
If the original card used for purchase has expired or been updated, the refund should still be processed through the account used to purchase. No additional action is needed by the original purchaser. If your credit card used for purchase has been canceled or is now expired, the bank or credit card company will normally reroute the credit amount issued to the current account or card for use. Please do not send any credit card or account information via email to TIXR, Eventbrite or Dancefestopia directly.
I bought tickets from a 3rd party, now what?
Only primary ticket purchasers via TIXR or Eventbrite will receive a refund. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival or our official ticketing partners, TIXR and Eventbrite.
I Cancelled my TIXR layaway plan, now what?
Per the TIXR purchase policy - you will pay the full ticket price in recurring monthly payments until the a final date set by the event organizer. The payment dates and amounts you will owe will be in your payment schedule displayed during checkout.
Tickets must be paid by the final payment date set by the Event Organizer in order for your tickets to be distributed and valid.
You may update the credit card on your payment plan at any time by saving a credit card to your account and selecting the new card in Payment Plan Details.
You may cancel your order in the middle of a payment plan, but in doing so you agree to forfeit all funds from previous payments. REFUNDS ON VOLUNTARILY CANCELED ORDERS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
If a payment fails, your order risks cancellation and forfeiture of all installments paid. It is the user's full responsibility to update the payment method. TIXR is not required to contact you if your payment method fails. Refunds on canceled orders due to failed payments are not permitted.
TIXR will attempt to run the credit card on file 5 days after the first past due payment and then 10 days after. Then it is up to the purchaser to reach out to TIXR support to process them payment manually.
